At the heart of La Dauphinelle is a team of devoted, professional and caring employees.<\/p>\n

Executive Director<\/strong><\/span>
\n\"\"Sabrina Lemeltier has a degree in social work and in administration. Over the course of her career, she has worked with children, adolescents, street youth,<\/p>\n

and\u00a0in the field of child psychiatry. Every activity in her professional career has been driven by her motivation to help people on a human level and to support them in their pursuit of better living conditions.<\/p>\n

Soon after she joined the team at La Dauphinelle, Sabrina made every effort to meet the rising demand for accommodation for women with children. This resulted in the relocation of the shelter in 2010, allowing it to double the capacity of its emergency shelter and to create second-stage housing in apartments.<\/p>\n

Sabrina has been involved in the board of directors of the Alliance des maisons d\u2019h\u00e9bergement de 2e \u00e9tape (Alliance of second-stage shelters) since 2018. She worked with the Committee of Experts mandated by the Government of Quebec to support domestic violence victims, which resulted in the filing of the \u201cRebuilding Hope\u201d report in December 2020.<\/p>\n<\/div>
